Happy New Year...finally able to post some Christmas shoots and engagements from the past two months.....

Thought it fitting to open with my favorite Christmas card this past year....

I adore this family for many reasons....they are just the sweetest, cutest, fun family. I love kids - they have the best kids - they are gamers and have a blast with pictures - they are all funny - all fun to be with - they crack each other up...The parents are such good parents - the kids are happy, kind and loving - to them and each other - just a joy to be with.  The baby is a little spark plug and they all want to hug him and make him giggle.... Matt is an adoring husband and Karie is just well..the best so it's easy to see why he adores her!  Stephanie of course came and made the kids laugh and loved playing with the kids...she even shot some pictures for me!!!! 

Karie is so excited about their sweet home and I enjoyed walking the property and seeing what they have done since I have shot them last.  Her enthusiasm is infectious and I can't wait to see it all come to fruition!  They have amazing plans for this property. Her hope someday is to have an awesome wedding venue and vineyard -the plans are beautiful (well the plans are in her head but the way she describe them I can only image how it will be!) There is an amazing weed field and hills behind her house (I know right? my dream - a huge field of weeds!!!)  Here's the shoot from 2009 - you can see a bit of the fields... 2009 

She sent me home with a basket of fresh vegetable from her garden!  

And besides all that like I said.... their Christmas card was the best one this year - it was just so well done and sweet and I loved that they included tons of pictures.
