David & Keiko | Hawaii Wedding | Honoluu Wedding Photographer
When I got to the venue (Pearl Harbor) there were about 50 chairs set up and I was so confused as I knew they were expecting 200 to 250 people....I guess it's a tradition there that some sit but most stand around the ceremony. I wasn't sure how it was going to work....While I must say it was hard to maneuver for me, it was amazing as a guest - it was so beautiful and intimate. The pastor performed a perfect ceremony. It was an incredible setting as you will see from the photos. Both of the homes they got ready in had views of the ocean...amazing I must say. We shot all the photos at the venue prior to the ceremony in the high sun so they could enjoy the late afternoon/evening with their guests...by the time the ceremony came it was perfect light and so beautiful for everyone involved. The groomsmen were hilarious...the entire day and were constantly singing. Keiko looked like a sophisticated Hawaiian princess as you will see, surrounded by gorgeous friends and family. They were so easy to photograph and Dani and I had a great time during their portraits - they were pros....This is the first wedding Dani second shot and did a GREAT job!
David and Keiko are prefect together and it was a honor, joy and privilege to capture this wedding for them. Enjoy our day...the setting was spectacular.
