Merritt Mansion Pasadena Wedding | Mollie and Spencer | Pasadena Wedding Photography
I'm loving this blog post... Jessy set it up and I just love it...
This wedding was one I had been looking forward to for a long time - Mollie was in my niece Kristine's wedding and I was so excited when she asked me to photograph hers!
For their engagement photos, click here Mollie and Spencer Engagement and here (because we did two..)
Their story is adorable...They had a class together...he acted like he was interviewing her but he was asking her out...they went out...got lost going to Pasadena..drove around for hours...and the rest is history. She loves all things girlie and shoes, clothes, colors, pinterest etc...He is all boy and a stud baseball player. Their theme was fashion meets baseball...
I have always loved Mollie - I have known her for many years - she is sweet, bubbly, funny and loves the Lord with all her heart... We actually went to Wicked together...not sure she remembers that! She is a treasure to many - and brings everyone she knows to hysterical laughing...She makes everyone feel like a million bucks when talking to them and ends everything with xoxoxo hugs and kisses and about how amazing you are ....Spencer is one of a kind - that's all I can say - He absolutely adores her, he has the most easy going and amazing personality - he's a leader and he loves the Lord and has a desire to lead her and be the best husband possible. I had the privilege of shooting their first look - they were blindfolded - and they prayed together. His prayer brought me to tears and I had to put down my camera. Honestly - I was blown away. He is just impressive - his character is stellar, his reputation goes before him, as does Mollie's and they are perfect for each other. It's always a joy to be so intimately involved in weddings as I pray for my own children and who they will marry someday. I tell Mollie all the time that she is truly blessed (I would tell Spencer the same thing...but I don't talk to him regularly haha)...But back to his prayer - I wish it was written down - it was everything a godly young man should desire and pray for as he is heading into marriage ... I wish you could all have heard it...
When I shoot weddings like this, I can't believe that I get to do this...It's like being part of the family....
This venue was beautiful and unique and Mollie had her touches all over the venue - there was no stone unturned. Many times I would turn a corner and see something new and special and have to find Jessy to make sure she got all the details! Many you will see here...but there are many more photos in their PASS account. Go see the pics here first to get a snapshot of their day...at the end of the post is the link to all their photos.
Enjoy...

There were a ton of people and vendors that helped at this wedding - I was blown away by all the sweet friends and family that gave of themselves to bring Mollie's dream wedding to life. The vendor team was incredible...the DJ hilarious and did a great job at making the reception a blast.
