A little time to write today...Another beauty...

I just thought this girl was amazing from the minute I met her a few years ago. Again - another incredibly beautiful girl inside and out - I must say some of her images below are my favorites for senior girls - she just shines from the inside out ...Loved her parents too - I had always seen her dad at her games taking pictures but was able to meet her mom for the first time - no wonder Katie is so amazing - her parents are soooo nice and friendly!

besides that she has incredible red hair and how awesome is that.

We followed Katie's basketball career over the past years and especially this year. We (my husband and I) were always impressed by every single thing she was quoted in saying in the newspaper - we pointed out to our kids how much we respected her for all her quotes - they were always positive and always humble.

Katie received a scholarship all the way across the US - she will be missed but we will enjoy seeing how the Lord uses her in college.
It was awesome to see how her friends and her mom took care of her on this shoot - you wouldn't even know she was in a wheelchair, couldn't walk at all - or even in pain! she's such a stud! She acts like it's nothing...but she was taken down in a playoff game - tore things in her knee and broke her wrist - through it all - she never whines, never complains, and never had anything bad to say about the situation. She had surgery about a week after this shoot - I am just amazed she pulled it off - and like I said - her images are amongst my most favorites.....

and these...loved the light here (on all the girls the light here was amazing!)...gotta love Humphrey's - can't wait to shoot a wedding there in August!
and this one below - captured by Jessy - is probably my favorite - there's just something about it - jessy edited it with a florabella action - it's just perfect to me.
her laugh and smile is the best - well all the girls that did their minis with me all had amazing smiles and laughs..no wonder they are best friends!

one friend had to leave and didn't make it in this last picture :( but I love it anyway! wish Brenda was in it! but see - aren't they all amazing girls? you can just tell!
