Matt + Lauren | Admiral Kidd Club Wedding | Temecula Valley Wedding Photography Part 1
Matt and Lauren met while she was a waitress at a restaurant in Oceanside….he and his friends went in there and Matt chased her down in the parking lot begging for her phone number…. Matt is a Marine and just an awesome guy – they are so great together. They adore each other. I was struck by many things at their wedding…mostly their relationship together and their friends.
They took their vows last Sunday at the Admiral Kidd Club in Point Loma (San Diego), CA. We were privileged to be able to capture their wedding…we all (Jessy, Emma and I all decided that it’s way more fun to be the photographers than the guests!) I just love love love weddings…especially this one :)
Lauren and the girls got ready in the Marriott across the street from the Admiral Kidd Club. There was not an inch of floor space in the room – not sure how they all got ready but they did and they looked AMAZING…all of them but especially Lauren.
Loved Lauren’s makeup…and her hair – she didn’t leave that clip in by the way :)
I think Lauren’s dress is about the prettiest I have have seen – it was a Vera Wang dress- the sash with the rhinestones was just beautiful.
This picture at the window below was Jessy’s angle – one of my favorites.
We went outside for the First Look…took some quick pictures of Lauren by herself. She was a STUNNING bride. It was a very cloudy day so we were able to shoot in any direction…which was nice.
Emma got this next one of Lauren – I love it :) It’s in black and white too below–
not sure which I like better. Lauren’s mother did all the flowers – they were gorgeous…
The first look – which is always one of my favorite things…I love when the bride is walking up and since you are seeing Matt for the first time – Isn’t he so awesome in his uniform????
Matt kills me…he talked with a Southern Accent and he is SUCH A GENTLEMAN! He has the best smile…

I went to j high and high school with Matt's mom. What a beautiful wedding. I especially love a military wedding. Matt, thank you for serving our country and putting up with all that goes with the job.
