I met Marina on Sunday in La Jolla….I thought it was going to be too cold but she wanted to brave the cold because the day WAS GORGEOUS. Everyone else in San Diego had the same idea – it was packed….but that didn't matter - most people were not where we were - they were climbing on the rocks looking for starfish!

It’s really awesome there – the tide pools are fun, the rocks are beautiful.. and it wasn’t even super cold after all! I did keep my jacket on the whole time but Marina did awesome - she never even looked cold!

Because it was so pretty…because La Jolla Cove was gorgeous…because Marina is SO PHOTOGENIC…I took a ton of pictures…of course….plus I shot with my new 85 1.2 and it’s awesome!

This is the first picture I took…I knew it would be a good shoot..she has an amazing smile.

I took a bunch more pictures by these rocks...I'll keep going the next week or so and put some more on facebook...

We got permission from the lifguards to go in their area…They asked who she was and I told them she was famous – she was on the Disney Channel – they said they were famous too. They were pretty funny – threw her some chocolate and let us shoot away…

Then they asked if I had a permit…oops??? Did I need one?? I laughed and they said I was fine…every person there had a camera…

We have great shots here too...I can't wait for her to see them...these are all just a sampling...

Marina was super easy to shoot…easy to pose – she usually did her own thing and it worked perfectly…she has awesome hair yes??

This place was awesome…we just had to avoid the birds pooping on us…or trying to!

She thinks she is not good at straight faces…hhhmmmm

She was a soccer captain and the goalie…she got a scholarship to Biola for soccer. It didn’t surprise me – she was so self assured and confidant. I can picture her being an amazing player and very very well liked by her teammates and coaches.

So I pulled my flash out – I usually don’t but at the beach it looks good – it always makes the sun look pretty. I LOVE how these turned out…Isn’t her dress awesome?

This next picture should impress you…it was FREEZING…I was in a coat! She was a BLAST and went in !!!

Believe it or not, I have more great pictures of her…It was so pretty there, so was so fun…true to form it was hard for me to stop.
