Used my new 85 1.2 on these…plus new Florabella actions.  We made bookmarks from two of the pictures for her Kindergarten class….

Thankful for Kyle - Day 9

Rejoicing that Kyle drives my kids to school.....

This morning he promised the boys a Starbucks on the way...at 6:40 we couldn't find him...he had gone for a jog...at 6:50 he was in the shower - Nanno bangs on the door telling him it's time to go - kyle says he's done in two minutes....

He got out grabbed his stuff, had to run back for the lunch I made him - he's so sweet, hugs me and says, "you're the best..." (it wasn't a great lunch, poor Kyle) and runs out the door - Isn't he hilarious?????? I am glad to see his shoes in the handful of his things....

Guess who did NOT want their picture taken? I don't think a quick picture was in Sam's plans for the day!

I took Dani about an hour later as she goes to a different campus - she was standing there and I said, "be funny!" so there she is - so cute! I just love her coat.

Baseball.....and a daily picture

Nanno's last day of Christmas break was spent at baseball...It started out fine but got FREEZING!!!! We won - Nanno had a good game ...it was fun till it got too cold! He hit this ball pretty hard...except it went right back to the pitcher! He got a hit to lead off a different inning and the team ended up scoring five runs that inning.

Dodgeball 7/365

Our church has an annual dodgeball tournament - the kids have a blast. This is the tournament that Jessy dislocated her knee at :( She obviously didn't play...she is just about recovered from her surgery!

The gym is super dark.

My settings are:
F 1.8, SS 1/500 ISO 6400!!! Gotta love that 5D Mark II

Missing Jessy - Rejoice Always Project 365 Day 6

Jessy has been at the Ardo's for awhile...feels strange without her - the team is not complete :( We miss her. I got this idea because Beth said the photo of Jessy was almost life size!

I love when the clouds look like this...Wish I was in a better spot to take a pic (we were at the batting cages...) there wasn't much around so I pointed the camera straight up!

I shot this sweet girl and her sisters today...well photographed them...when we were done, we visited the horses...the sequence of these shots is hilarious. The horse would not leave her alone!

Rejoice Always, Project 365 Day 1

Simple rules - a picture a day, everyday, for 365 days documenting your life or whatever you want to document...

I named my project Rejoice Always - I was trying to think of a daily theme...Nothing seemed more perfect than rejoicing in the Lord always.

We came home from Brian Head today...it's raining, the Christmas decorations are still all up...Stephanie instantly got home and put her skates on...skates will forever remind me of my sweet youngest girl. She actually went in the kitchen and was skating around making lemonade! I asked her to kick up her feet in front of the tree ... believe me it was hard to keep that skate still!

Committing this year to nail my exposure....Want to join me in that?

At least - join me in this Project - it's really fun - I know I am on the first day...but I thought it would help me record things and to see the Lord's gifts in each day. You don't need a special camera - just a way to take pictures.
