Engagement Session | Temecula Valley Wedding Photographer

Matt met Lauren while she was waiting on his table of friends in a restaurant in Oceanside…he begged for her number, even chased her down in the parking lot!  She must have had a good feeling about him because they have been together ever since…They are getting married on March 6 in Point Loma, CA at the Admiral Kidd Club …yes – getting married on the water looking over the San Diego bay – woo hoo!    I can’t wait.  Matt is a marine and will be in full dress uniform.  My brother was a marine so I know that uniform well and it’s AWESOME! 

 

We met in downtown Temecula and then wandered around Murrieta….We had such a great time  - I had met Lauren previously when she came over to discuss the wedding and see my sample albums, and digital proofs.  I like to show people the whole thing.  I read somewhere that it’s important to see proofs so you can get a feel for how the photographer shoots….

I had just met Matt that afternoon.   Matt is from Oklahoma and surprised Lauren by asking her to marry him in front of his whole church!!!  It’s even taped and on you tube.   I just love their story!  Poor Matt I asked him a ton of questions so I could get to know him but he said I asked more than his soon to be mom in law..haha!  He drives those cool water machine things…he had an awesome name for them but I can’t remember – he told me it’s the cars that drove up on the beach in the movie Saving Private Ryan.  How cool is that?   When asked what he saw in Lauren, his reply was, “just look at her!”
